❉ What you get:
Create a whimsical and fantastical Bark Corset for yourself with this highly detailed 24 Page pattern. This pattern is packed with written instructions for every step, as well as supporting photos and charts and is appropriate for intermediate level crafters or confident adventurous beginners.
This pattern includes instructions for how to make TWO different styles of underbust corset: a front-lacing corset or a back-lacing corset. Which will you make?
Your corset will comprise of a rugged bark texture, reinforced decorative rustic seams and lacing channels. Instructions are then included for how to make vine stitching, leaves and moss to embellish your corset.
❉ Supplies Needed:
Yarn -
For the bark texture: 150g brown aran or heavier worsted weight yarn, OR LIKELY MORE OR LESS depending on your unique size.
For embellishments: DK and/or aran yarn scraps (less than 10g total) in greens and earth tones.
Moss yarns (suggestions for yarns to use to imitate moss are included in the pattern).
Hooks -
Essential: 5mm hook is essential.
Recommended for embellishment: 3, 4mm.
Notions - Yarn needle, stitch markers and measuring tape.
Recommended but can be substituted: 2-3m 10mm wide double sided satin ribbon for lacing
❉ Experience Level:
This pattern was written with intermediate crafters in mind. However, I believe that an adventurous beginner who likes a creative challenge would fair reasonably well with it! Please read my FAQ for more information on the experience level required for my patterns.
I do not, however, explain how to work the basic crochet stitches used. You will need to know basic crochet stitches (including increase/decrease, front/back post) and be comfortable working from your own body measurements.

This pattern is made to measure. (You will need to take and work from your own waist measurement.) This means this pattern can be made to fit any body!
