The Sunflower Corset Belt features a burst of colour with it's central sunflower and a sturdy lacing channel. Optional rustic decorative edge stitching and leaves add a special touch. Choose your favourite shades of yellow, umber, orange and green for endless summer, autumnal or other whimsical looks!
❉ Supplies Needed:
Yarn -
Sunflower Centres: 30g (approx. 65m/72yds) brown aran or heavier worsted weight yarn
Corset Belt: 80g (approx. 160m/175yds) green aran or heavier worsted weight yarn, **or more or less depending on your size**
Sunflower Petals: 10g (approx. 25m/28yds) lighter yellow DK yarn AND 10g (approx. 25m/28yds) darker yellow DK yarn
Embellishment: Scrap (less than 10g) accent aran or heavier worsted weight yarn AND Scrap (less than 5g) moss yarns for rustic accents
Recommended hooks - 4mm and 5mm hooks.
Notions- Yarn needle, flexible measuring tape.
Optional but recommended: locking stitch markers.
❉ Experience Level:
This pattern was written with intermediate crafters in mind. However, I believe that an adventurous beginner who likes a creative challenge would fair reasonably well with it! Please read my FAQ for more information on the experience level required for my patterns.
I do not, however, explain how to work the basic crochet stitches used. You will need to know basic crochet stitches (including increase/decrease), how to work with a magic ring, be comfortable working from your own body measurements and know how to read written crochet term abbreviations using a key.

This pattern is made to measure. (You will need to take and work from your own waist measurement.) This means this pattern can be made to fit any body!
