The Wasteland Cowl features a face covering which folds down into a turtleneck-style collar, an oversized hood which folds down to stretch around the shoulders like a cowl/wrap and an oversized triangular cowl-style scarf-front.

❉ Supplies Needed:
Yarn - Approx. 250g (500m/545yds) aran or heavier worsted weight yarn or possibly a bit more depending on your head size.
Required hooks - 5 & 7mm.
Required notions - Yarn needle, locking stitch markers in two colours and scissors.
❉ Experience Level:
This pattern is suitable for a confident adventurous beginner. Please read my FAQ for more information on the experience level required for my patterns.
I do not, however, explain how to work the basic crochet stitches used. You will need to know basic crochet stitches (including increase/decrease, back loop only, third loop only) and how to try on your work as you go to ensure good fit.
